Mgr. et Mgr. Miloslav Juráni, PhD.
Assistant Professor
Milo Juráni studied Environmental Studies at the Faculty of Natural Sciences of Comenius University and Theory and Criticism of Theater Arts at the Academy of Performing Arts in Bratislava. He served as editor-in-chief of the magazine kød – konkrétne o divadle and as a theater scholar at the Theater Institute in Bratislava.
He is a co-founder and contributor to the cultural platform MLOKI.sk and the author of numerous theater reviews, academic articles, several conference papers, and festival dramaturgies. In 2017–2018, he led a seminar at Ruhr University Bochum on the intersection of ecology and theater. In 2021, he defended his dissertation titled Scenic Arts in the Anthropocene at the Academy of Performing Arts (VŠMU). He continues to research this topic.
He regularly collaborates as a dramaturg with the independent women’s group MFK Bochum from Germany, and since 2023, he has been working at HaDivadlo as a resident dramaturg.
