Mgr. et Mgr. Bc. Amálie Bulandrová, is a theater scholar, art historian, art theorist, and occasional curator. She earned her master’s degree in Theater Studies and her bachelor’s degree in Art History at the Faculty of Arts of Masaryk University in Brno. She subsequently completed a master’s program in Art Theory and History at the Academy of Arts, Architecture and Design in Prague (UMPRUM), where she currently serves as co-head of the Fine Arts I studio (alongside Dominik Lang and Tereza Jindrová). Since spring 2022, she has also been involved in organizing Kafkárna / Center for Art and Ecology at UMPRUM, which is located in the former sculpture studio of Bohumil Kafka in Prague’s Ořechovka neighborhood.
During her studies, she spent a year in Germany (studying at Ruhr-Universität Bochum; internship at the Czech Center Berlin) and a year in France (studying at the Université de Poitiers; research project Migrating Art Historians). She completed short-term internships in Norway (Bergen 2019; Oslo 2023) and Sweden (Malmö, Gothenburg 2024). In her research, Amálie focuses on scenography: the intersections between theatrical and visual installations, visual dramaturgy in the Scandinavian context, methods of exhibiting scenography, and exhibition scenography as a disciplinary field. Her interest in environmental issues, feminism, the “scenographic nature” of public space, and contemporary art is also reflected in her curatorial practice (e.g., Growing Weeds, Harvesting a Storm, Hraničář Gallery, 2023; Only Transitions and Translations, MeetFactory Gallery, 2023; Kafkárna – House & Garden, UM Gallery, 2024; Relationships: Fundus Utopia, OC Prior, 2021).
As a cultural worker, Amálie has collaborated with tranzit.cz (Biennale of Art 2022), the Prague German-Language Theater Festival (2017–2023), and the Center for Experimental Theater in Brno (2020–2022). She continues to develop collaborations with professional organizations such as ČOSDAT (particularly within the framework of the annual Salon of Czech Scenography showcases), and also publishes irregularly in various theater and art-oriented cultural magazines (Artalk.cz, Podhoubí, Mloki.sk, Divadelní noviny…).
Eliška Raiterová graduated in Theory and Criticism at the Theatre Faculty of the Academy of Performing Arts in Prague. She completed her Bachelor's degree in 2018 with the thesis Corrida de toros: Game, Sport, Ritual or Theatre? and her Master's degree in 2021 with the thesis Gob Squad: Heroes of Our Time. She has long been interested in interdisciplinary overlaps from theatre studies, especially to cultural studies, anthropology, religious studies or psychology. She is continuing her PhD studies at Masaryk University with her research The Spectator Experience in the Context of Creative Strategies of Spectator-oriented Performances. She spent a semester of her master's studies at the Institute for Applied Theatre Science at Justus-Liebig-Universität in Giessen, Germany, and during her PhD studies she completed a research internship in Finland at the Theatre Faculty of Uniarts Helsinki. At DAMU, she was the editor-in-chief of Hybris magazine from 2018-2020. She has published in Svět a divadlo (World and Theatre Magazine), Deník N and Divadelní noviny (Theatre Newspaper), and works as editor of Theatralia Journal. She is also dedicated to her own work, especially within the theatre group Akolektiv Helmut.

In addition to her studies in Theater studies, Ivona Solčániová also earned a degree in a technical field focused on mechanical engineering, which significantly influences her research into theatrical mechanisms, stage machinery, and historical technologies used in theaters. Her dissertation examines theatrical technologies in selected Czech theaters and the broader development of the theatrical space. In her research, she therefore focuses primarily on the architecture of theater buildings, stage technologies, and the technical infrastructure of theater operations.
She participates in both research and outreach projects, such as THEATRE 3D, which creates 3D models of significant historical theaters and stage equipment to teach and popularize the history of theater.
In his work, he has long sought to connect historical research on the theatrical space with new technologies and innovative teaching methods that enable students and the public to better understand the theater's functioning as a complex technical and artistic system.

Tereza Teerink Turzíková graduated from Theater Studies and Theory of Interactive Media at the Faculty of Arts at Masaryk University. Her bachelor‘s thesis was on the topic of Applied Rhizomatics: D’epog and the Limits of Theater Apparatus (2019) and her master‘s thesis focused on Performance and Posthumanism: Searching for New Modes of Life in Art (2021).
In her dissertation research, she explores performance art of the last decades in Czechia from the perspective of feminism and queer studies. She is a theater lecturer in HaDivadlo (Brno) and an author of articles on theater and art.

She graduated from the Faculty of Arts at Masaryk University with a degree in Theater Theory and History (in 2014 she earned her B.A. with a thesis titled *Three Times Mother Courage*, directed by Miloš Hynšt; in 2017 she earned her M.A. with a thesis titled *The Beginnings of Czech Permanent Theater in Brno*) and a double major in Czech Language and Literature and History (in 2017 she received her B.A. – bachelor’s thesis: Václav Svoboda’s Traveling Theater Company and Its Activities in Moravia; departmental thesis: The Dramatic Works of Božena Viková-Kunětická from the 1890s).
She currently works as a researcher at the Theater Research Office at the Theater Faculty of the Janáček Academy of Music and Performing Arts and as a public relations officer at HaDivadlo.
Silvie Hajdíková is a graduate of the Theory and History of Fine Arts and Theater Studies programs at the Faculty of Arts of Palacký University in Olomouc. In her bachelor’s thesis, *Otakar Schindler – Scenographic Work* (2023), she explored the interconnection between Schindler’s visual and scenographic work. She completed her master’s degree in 2025 with a thesis titled The Materiality of Scenographic Designs from the Second Half of the 20th Century.
In her doctoral studies at Masaryk University, she continues her research focused on The Visual Appeal of Musical Theater Scenography.
She participates in the organization of festivals such as REGIONY, PAF, and SAFE Olomouc. She is also involved in the activities of the organization ČOSDAT (Time for Shadows and the Salon of Czech Scenography). At the same time, she is collaborating on the SOMA project—Center for Contemporary Art and Psychotherapy, which is being established under the auspices of the Olomouc Museum of Art and the Olomouc University Hospital.
