Theatralia: A Review of Contemporary Thought on Theatre Culture is a peer-reviewed scholarly journal issued at Masaryk University (the Department of Theatre Studies at Faculty of Arts) since 2009.

The aim of the journal is to study so far unexplored areas of theatre art, especially Czech theatre. At the same time the journal follows the progressive tendencies of theatre from theatre theory, individual segments (e.g. dramatical texts, directing and stage design) to interdisciplinary overlaps (e.g. theatricality). Topics are processed in the form of scholarly studies. The journal also includes reviews of books and reports of theatre events. The merit of the journal is the release of so-far unpublished materials that authors have discovered during their research in archives.

KriTh or Kritické theatrum (Critical Theatrum) is an online journal of the Department of Theatre Studies. It gives the students opportunity to publish their reviews and also to try the editorial work. The main goal of the project is to refine writing skills and argumentation, which is achieved by working closely with authors. Another benefit of the journal is that it has created the counterbalance to established cultural periodicals by presenting youthful but nevertheless knowledgeable opinions. Main contributors include students of the Department of Theatre Studies who are joined by graduates of the department and also students from other art and theatre fields at other universities.
